"Hangyaku no Uta"

I've noticed that I seem to enjoy watching shows about conceited, controlling, angst-ridden characters.
Lelouch Lamperouge, or rather, Rurushu Ranperuji, of the anime show Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion comes to mind. It doesn't help that I've just seen the latest ten episodes of season two and spent the past hour looking for screen caps to make icons of.
It's safe to say I'm a large Lelouch fangirl, minus the occasional squealing and desires to glomp any cosplayer portraying him. It's odd to say, but his conniving and deceptive ways are admirable, mainly for the way he's able to turn practically any situation in his favor. While I personally dislike and would never use psychology to distort others, it's just amazing to sit and watch Lelouch, a discarded prince, toy with others and throw the world into such turmoil.
Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion is not an easy show to follow for everyone, mainly as it's more focused on robotic warfare with a mix of personal desire and conflicted, anger-driven teens, but I enjoy it. Angst is one of my favorite subgenres, after all.
