Woodworking is a lost art.
Flipping through the channels on the TV, I stumbled upon the Public Broadcasting Station which was currently featuring The Woodwright's Shop. I often stop and watch, if only for a moment, just to marvel at the woodwright's skill at...well, working the wood.
It saddens me to know that in this day and age, such basic skills needed for living way back when is now nonexistent, unneeded, and under-appreciated. Nowadays, it's rare to see anyone with a special talent such as that, and those people who are bored and dissatisfied with life are so spoiled it's sickening.
